The wall stretches all the way around the park, brightly coloured broken tiles and faience create mosaic designs. It is a technique called trencadis.

Gaudi ended up buying this residence and it is now a museum 'Casa-Museu Gaudi' with many personal items and furniture belonging to Gaudi.

My last night here I decided to see the palace and the watershow (it's free afterall). This is at The Placa D'Espanya on the way to the Palace

the water show near the Palau Nacional, you can tell it's pretty big by the silloutes of the people

This is Claire, she's irish and I met her at the Travellers pub. It's a great bar off La Rambla with 2 beer and a shot for 6 euros!

A guy found out I was Canadian and brought out a one and two dollar bill to show off.. what the hell? These haven't been around in over 10 years!

Me, another Irish girl and the Auzzie who just finished hitch-hiking across the US and Canada and is now workign his way across Europe. All without his own credit card! Goes to show what you can do.

So ends my tour of Spain... next stop Nice, France! At least I can speak French!
