I met a snowboarder who called himself Bud on this train. He said he won the British Open of snowboarding and rides mosly in the french alps.

When I arrived in Nice I got off the train with an Ozzie named James. We found a guesthouse for 20 euros each a night near the train depot.

James and I found the cheapest (and roudiest) bar in town. Jonathans Live Music bar. You have to ring a bell to get inside and they have these "giraffes" of beer for about 20 euros.

This place was roudy... everyone was singing songs and some of them were completely in french. The guitar player was ignored half the time and the owner had to shut everyone up on multiple occasions to let him play.

The next day I spent in Monacco walking around. It's one of the smallest countries in the world and nobody pays taxes. The casino is one of the largest income sources.
